The Thief and the Innkeeper
Some of you might have heard the name Reed before. Why? Because it's been out on iOS and Android for a little while, but this is all about its sequel, Reed 2. It's coming to iOS December 12th and if you just can't wait for it, you can pre-order it on the App Store for £2.99/$2.99 now.
Reed 2 is now available for Pre-Order on iOS devices! ????https://t.co/HFP594ZRxtlaunching in December! #pixelart #gamedev @PXLink pic.twitter.com/df2bdduInz— Crescent Moon Games ?? (@CM_Games) November 26, 2018 Like its predecessor, Reed 2 continues off with the same adorable cat-like creature made by a super computer. Besides striking visuals, it's the simple-but-effective level design and challenging combat that always made Reed so endearing.

When we reviewed the original earlier this year we gave it a Silver Award, saying: "It will make you swear, it will make you scream, but it'll also make you punch the air in joyous revery when you succeed. And sometimes, quite frankly, that's all you want from a mobile game."

Though we don't know much about this sequel's story, we do know it'll offer up more complex and varied gameplay than before. Thankfully, it'll still have the same cute characters and plenty more secrets to discover too.

Back in November of last year, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links celebrated 5 billion duels being played with an in-game campaign. Now Konami is commemorating another occasion, the game's fourth anniversary. Naturally, this means another in-game campaign with a variety of rewards up for grabs.

There will be separate campaigns for players to participate in and they'll be running for quite a long time too. By logging into the game between now and January 11th 2022 – yes, you have read that right – players will net themselves the new Legend Foil Rarity Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon card and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (movie version) card.

Updated 24th November, 13:11: Time to get malevolent, guys and girls, as Deus Ex GO's new content update has just hit home.
If you're one of the folks that's already breezed through the game and are bossing through each daily challenge, now's your time to shine. It's the best time of year to be naughty or nice to those you want to share your creation with.

Grab the game now on the App Store where the update's gone live. The Android version is lagging behind a little but it'll be out soon no doubt.

Hey, so, do you guys remember Deus Ex GO? Of course you do, it's a brilliant addition to the franchise - and it's also bringing us its legendary User Generated Content sometime later this week.

The User Generated Content is basically Deus Ex GO's creative mode. Here you can build your own levels, choose the design, set your own traps, and plot your own solutions to share with other players/friends.

You can be kind…or you can do what I do and make the most difficult, maliciously devious level you can possibly think of and just watch the gears turning in your friends' heads. All the while sit back and contain your evil laughter if you can. It's better that way.

We'll let you know when the update drops definitely but it's due out later this week. Grab the game (currently on sale) for 79p/99c on Google Play and the App Store now.

R2Games’ The Third Age has been released on Android devices after several rounds of closed beta testing.

It’s an online strategy game set in Middle Earth, not to be confused with Middle-earth, the apocryphal setting of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy epic ‘The Lord of the Rings’ book series. In fact despite the bizarre similarities, it doesn’t look like the game has any official relation to the popular franchise.

The Third Age features a large expansive fantasy world with real-time battles where you can explore the land and fight enemies in player versus player and player versus enemy type rounds. Furthermore, you can summon legendary heroes to fight by your side in each conflict and lead them to victory.

In the meantime, you can also build your own castle to rule over the realm of your own, comparing your settlements to other players’ and growing as a stronger ruler. Once you enter the world of The Third Age, you join an Alliance and choose your own Mount. The mobile version of the game has cross-server features, meaning players from both platforms can battle and cooperate and duel together. The game also supports multi-language translations in real time, meaning everyone can talk to each other no matter their language.

Ultimately, you’ll be able to meet friends from all over the world, fight together, conquer territories and create your own fantasy world with them. If that sounds like something you want to check out, you can play The Third Age by downloading it from specific Android stores, namely Google Play and the HUAWEI App Gallery. It’s also coming to the iOS App Store in the near future, and a Steam edition is coming in 2021.
If you like strategy games, you should check out our list of the best ones available to play on Android devices. The Ants and the Grasshopper
