Free Fire - Battlegrounds（MOD APK (No SP Cost) v6.0.01）

Last week there were reports going around that Konami had stopped working on all its big name franchises. It was said that all of the company's AAA game series would be abandoned apart from Pro Evolution Soccer.

Since then, as Throwing Digital Sheep discovered, Konami has responded to these reports, and has said that they are false.

For starters, Konami Europe's community manager Su-Yina Farmer suggested that the reports were false on Twitter. She stated: "I hope re-purposing speculation and rumour as news, isn't the new standard."
No Metal Gear left behind
But the more substantial response came from Konami support to an inquiring fan (via Reddit).

When asking if Konami would continue working on the Metal Gear Solid series, the support staff said the following:

"I can promise you that we're definitely not leaving Metal Gear behind or anything like that. I know some blogs were claiming that online this morning, but I'm not really sure where they'd be getting that from."

And later in the same response:

"We're still definitely working on console games and franchises such as Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, PES and all the rest."

You can read the full response here.
Pachinko?
The response also mentions a previously announced Metal Gear game that is still in production.

We don't know what kind of game it is right now. It may end up being yet another of Konami's weird erotic pachinko games (such as the Silent Hill and Castlevania one.) We'll have to see.

In any case, Konami is gearing up for a big push on mobile moving forward. We just hope that this doesn't mean pachinko machines for mobile too.
Siliconera.
